The Maples Course Major Renovation Now Underway!

On Sunday, May 18th, the Maples course closed for a full-scale renovation project.

Highlights Include:

New TifEagle Bermuda Greens – delivering a smooth, consistent putting surface. The same premium greens you’ll find on the Byrd Course, and both the Maples and Jones Byrd practice greens.
Reimagined Course Layout & Architecture – A unique fairway cut design with additional and expanded natural areas accented by ornamental grasses. Fairways widened from 14 acres to 40 acres—a transformation unlike anything else in the area.
Cart Path Removal – Removal of rough cart paths. Guests can now enjoy a smoother, more enjoyable ride through natural waste areas or designated paths.
Upgraded Irrigation – new green-surround irrigation heads to help keep the turf healthier, greener, and more consistent, all year long.
New directional Signage to guide you smoothly from hole to hole.
New Golf Cart Fleet – Enjoy our new top-of-the-line Club Car golf carts with Visage GPS and Bluetooth technology. Soon, you’ll even be able to order food and drinks right from your cart.
Enhanced turf conditions and landscaping, including newly sodded areas and select tee boxes.
