He has a diverse background in various aspects of golf management, including tournament operations, human resource management, customer relations, merchandising, golf instruction, and competitive play.  Jimmy has a keen eye for detail and strives to provide a high-quality golf experience for every guest at Sea Trail Golf Resort.

Corey Bowers 

Head Golf Professional 

Corey Bowers is a golf professional with 10+ years of experience in various aspects of the golf industry.  He has a background in tournament operations, junior golf coaching, multi-course operations, and golf course development and construction. Corey is passionate about golf and strives to provide excellent service and quality to his clients and guests.

Cameryn Smith

Assistant Golf Professional 

Cameryn has been playing golf for 20 years. She attended Queens University in Charlotte on a golf scholarship and played competitively for her entire 4 years at Queens.  An Ocean Isle Beach local, she came up through the First Tee Program and after graduating college went back and worked for First Tee assisting in their mission of teaching life skills through the game of golf. Cameryn is  currently pursuing her Class A PGA status

Gavin McCall

Assistant Golf Professional 

Gavin has been in the golf industry for 7 years now.  His passion for the game has driven him to achieve his Class A PGA Professional status. A native of Charlotte, NC, Gavin’s family has been vacationing in Sunset Beach for 25 years.   He is happy to be a part of the Sea Trail Resort community and help it grow to a top golf destination.

 Daniel Hill

Director of Food & Beverage

With 30 plus years of foodservice and hospitality experience both in front and back of house, Daniel ‘s diverse culinary background and passion for all aspects of food and beverage operations pulls from time spent working and traveling in the South and in Puerto Rico where he worked for a variety of establishments honing both his Southern roots and mastering Thai and Caribbean flavors. Having spent the last 6 years as Executive Chef at Grand Harbor Golf and Yacht Club in South Carolina executing a variety of menus and cuisines, including events and weddings, Daniel is well-positioned to provide discerning guests a unique culinary experience in our dining venues and customized menus tailored to their special events at Sea Trail Golf Resort

Demetri Willliams

Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Demetri Williams brings 12 years of  food and beverage industry experience to STGR which include a management stint with Atlantic Seafood & Steak in Southport and  general manager duties in restaurants in St George Island, Florida and Holden Beach. Most recently Demetri was at The Bald Head Island Club – specializing in all things bourbon and receiving his bourbon steward certification. Demetri joins STGR as  Asst F&B Manager and has created a signature craft cocktail for the resort in partnership with Cape Fear Distillery.

Cassie Bowers

Front of House Manager 

Cassie has over 10 years experience in the golf food and beverage industry. As the Front of the House Manager, Cassie not only brings her expertise, but also leadership and her passion to provide next level service and comfort to all guests. Cassie ensures front of house staff is thoroughly trained and that each venue and event is staffed and service is executed to the highest standard.

Sean Defreitas

Sous Chef, Pastry Chef

Sean has over 11 years in the culinary industry starting out as a prep cook working his way to to his current spot as pastry chef at Sea Trail Golf Resort.  Originally from Massachusetts, Sean worked in both family restaurants and fine dining establishments. His training began with 4 years at a technical school and culminated in his Associates Degree in Pastry Arts from Johnson and Wales in 2018.  Sean excels at bread and breakfast pastries and his passion is creating elegant, plated desserts.

Cassie Sepp

Cassie, originally from Duluth, Minnesota, brings her creative flair and strategic insight to her role as the Director of Marketing at Sea Trail Golf Resort. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Marketing & Public Relations, complemented by a minor in Graphic Design. With previous experience working for a full-service marketing, design, and digital agency, Cassie brings a passion for innovative creation and effective communication and is a vital contributor to the events staff.

Stephen Donahue

Director of Agronomy

Stephen brings over 22 years  experience to his position with Sea Trail Golf Resort, including stints at Grand Dunes Resort and Brunswick Plantation. Originally from Brevard, NC, Stephen has worked at golf courses since he was 16 and has his Associates in Turf Grass Management from Horry Georgetown Tech and completed his internship at Crescent Point Golf Club in Bluffton, SC.

Mike Buccerone, PGA

President- East Coast Golf Management

A decorated PGA Member, Mike provides the strategic vision for East Coast Golf and its subsidiary companies.  Mike founded the company in 2011 and has been the driving force behind our growth and success. Mike is a nationally recognized leader in golf and retail operations and an expert in the development of key strategic partnerships.  Prior to founding ECG, Mike served in executive and club leadership positions with some of the nation’s most recognized golf properties.

Rob Mosser, PGA

Executive Vice President- East Coast Golf Management

In his role as EVP, Rob provides leadership for all of ECG’s divisions and serves as our liaison for intercompany and vendor relationships.  An expert in golf marketing, Rob also spearheads the destination marketing efforts for all our properties, working with local, regional and national media outlets as well as our digital platforms.  Rob is a PGA Member and industry veteran with broad experience in all phases of club management.
