That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce that Sea Trail Golf Resort will serve as the new home of Family Golf Week moving forward.
The 2026 event will take place July 13–18 at Sea Trail Golf Resort in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, welcoming families from across the country for a week built around competition, connection, and unforgettable memories on the golf course.
And for our resort, this is more than just hosting another golf event.
It’s a milestone moment.
A Tradition Nearly 30 Years in the Making
Entering its 29th year, Family Golf Week has grown into one of the most meaningful and recognizable family golf events in the country. What began as the National Father & Son Team Classic has evolved into a week-long celebration of golf and family that now welcomes fathers and daughters, mothers and sons, siblings, cousins, spouses, mentors, and generations of families playing together.
Today, the event draws hundreds of players from more than 40 states and multiple countries, making it the largest Father & Son golf tournament in the world.
But ask anyone who has played in it, and they’ll tell you the same thing:
This event has never really been about winning.
It’s about the annual trip with Dad.
The first tee shot with your daughter.
